Cleartech was chosen to be ABR Telecom’s technological partner responsible for implementation of the Mobile Number Portability1 system in Brazil, which it has maintained since 2008.
In 2022, we reached a milestone of 75 million portability services successfully delivered in Brazil and more than 270 telecommunications operators connected through our services.
These numbers were made possible – and continue to be made possible – by the extensive range and effectiveness of our mobile number portability system, as well as the maturity of sustainment processes provided by Cleartech.
Brazil’s Mobile Number Portability System consists of a series of complementary systems that are developed and maintained by Cleartech:
• System for execution of mobile number portability — the main system through which access code portability is provided;
• Portability management system, facilitating portability management on the part of ABR Telecom, operators and regulatory bodies through means of a range of consultations, reports and dashboards;
• Public system for consulting ported telephone numbers through which it is possible to consult the current telecommunications operator for a given telephone number:

• System for managing third party access to solutions;
• Technical and business monitoring system, which integrates business continuity management through the generation of preventive and incident-related alerts related to systems, infrastructure, or business operations.
By providing the entire technological apparatus needed to support our Portability service, from infrastructure to business processes, we have historically been able to offer availability of 99.99%, yet another statistic that demonstrates Cleartech’s extensive capacity for delivering the more than 30 services currently provided to our diverse customer base!
